They’re Setting Up Shop in Your Neighborhood
Does America have a huge election problem? Republicans think so. They say Americans have lost faith in the electoral system. They claim they need to ensure elections follow the law [which law?]. Provide confidence that their votes matter. Did we question that before? Another way to sow doubt. They’re looking for something that’s not there.
Was there a huge dispute about election results pre-Trump? Not at the level of the rhetoric coming from Republicans. Not to my recollection.
The Non-White Votes Are Coming!
Election police? No. Let’s call them “political police squads”. Coined by an election supervisor from Broward County, Fla. They want millions of dollars based on zero evidence of widespread election fraud. Betcha those millions will find their way to other places [politicians’ pockets?].
The “election police” will set up offices in a state hunting for “election fraud” based on “tips”. Who’s going to run these dystopian units? Envision a group of old white men sitting around in an office. Not your standard office — leather, reclining seats, big-screen TV, Donald Trump swag. Where do you think all that money is going? Taking phone calls from “whistleblowers”. They will be looking for their “prey”…
