“I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God. Unless I don’t have to tell the truth.”

Are those refusing to testify in front of the January 6th panel afraid to put their hand on a bible? Swear to tell the truth? Is that what those religious Conservatives are most afraid of? Are they afraid their followers and constituents won’t like the truth or burst into flames?
