So here’s another unintended consequence. The New York Times is reporting that Alabama fertility clinics are now storing their embryos outside of the state to circumvent that whole personhood thing. Cuz who knows when the laws might change? One clinic is even sending their leftover embryos to New York to be destroyed rather than doing it in-house in Alabama.

Republicans didn't anticipate that. Next bill will make it illegal for IVF procedures to move the embryos out of state. Waiting!
