A Roman Catholic archbishop says “NO” to Nancy Pelosi when she goes up to receive Communion. Her offense? She’s pro-choice.
Did she molest a child? Did she hide the fact there were rapists serving in the church? NO. She believes women have the right to choose what to do with their own bodies.
The hypocrisy of Catholics denying Nancy Pelosi communion because she supports abortion rights. Has she had an abortion? Did she help anyone get an abortion [that’s a crime too now in some states]? Being persecuted for her beliefs? That’s ironic.
The Roman Catholic archbishop sent her a letter. Yes, a letter, throwing accusations at the House speaker. She failed to ‘understand the grave evil she is perpetrating’. Grave evil? Isn’t raping a child, grave evil?
She also had the audacity to ignore requests to explain her position to this archbishop. Why doesn’t he explain himself? He not only wants her to publicly revoke her support for the legitimacy of abortion. Also, head to confession for absolution and say a bunch of Hail Marys.
Doesn’t the Bible say something that might be fitting?
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For, in the same way, you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Matthew 7:1)
But he didn’t stop at a letter. He posted it on Twitter. Why? Did he want everyone to think he was in vogue? Although Twitter doesn’t seem to be trendy anymore. Did anyone else get a letter? Who else has he called out on Twitter?
The archbishop accused her of causing a “scandal”. Guess priests molesting kids isn’t scandalous.
What other “offenses” deemed by the Catholic tyranny will result in the denial of Communion? Will they have gatekeepers at the church doors denying entrance to these “offenders”? They’ll just have another room they can hide in from the others? [a cry room for adults?]
